Well, now you know a little bit more about us, and we are happy to share more, just ask! We truly appreciate your interest.

Having been married for more than ten years, we are confident we have a solid foundation on which to build our family, and we hope our family will someday include at least 2-3 children. As prospective parents, we are committed to raising a child in an environment that will provide them with opportunities to explore and discover their unique interests, talents, and passions....

We are definitely an “experiences not things” and “opt-outside” kind of family, and these sentiments carry through to many of our hobbies and traditions.

One of our favorite things to do is “trunk breakfast.” On pretty much any given weekend, you will find us enjoying breakfast while sitting in the back of our little SUV at the lake.

We also enjoy cooking and supporting local farms and businesses. Our Sunday mornings are often spent driving through the nearby farms to stop at different fruit and vegetable...

For us, family is everything. In September 2023 we adopted our daughter Clara, and she has brought more joy to our family than we ever could have imagined. She is an active little lady, who loves music, dancing, and playing with other kids. We would love for her to have the opportunity to grow up with at least one or two siblings. Clara also loves dogs, especially our dog Mosby. True partners in crime, you can find her sneaking him bits of her meals, cuddling, and playing together.

After living together in Virginia, Florida, and Maryland, we felt called to move north to be closer to family, so in the summer of 2018, we moved to New York. Amelia grew up in the town we now call home, and her parents are just 10 minutes down the road from us.

We have spent the last handful of years renovating our home into the relaxed, lake life kind of oasis we’ve been looking for. Located just two miles from the shores of Lake Ontario, we have easy access to more than 900 acres of parkland and top rated schools.

Hello! We are Amelia, Mike, Clara, and Mosby! We are a family, based in New York State, who hope to once again grow our family through domestic infant adoption.

We are homestudy approved to take placement of a child/ren from anywhere in the United States.
